Building from last year’s New Wine Conference theme on ‘Communion’ and drawing inspiration from Jesus Christ who is the one Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5),
we shall look at the markers of communion, explore what our ‘boundaries’ are and learn the strategies and practices to bridge these boundaries.
To bridge boundaries well and work towards communion, we want to hone our skills further with the following tracks:
– Track 1: “Crafting Group Narratives” – How we define our group identity & how we regard others?
What pulls us together and what drives us apart are a tussle around identity; our need to be unique and our need to belong to something larger than ourselves.
Discover the fundamental values, perspectives and mindsets about ourselves and others which may advance or impede our communion with others.
– Track 2: “Boundary-crossing Skill” – How to understand and manage the source of tension?
All of us, group leaders, parents and so on, need this skill in navigating the boundaries present in our daily life in the family, parish, workplace and society.
– Priests of the Parish
– PPC and EXCO members
– Ministry leaders
– SCC and NCC leaders
